Seeder is being built as a recovery-backup ecosystem: an application first, followed by purpose-built hardware when funding and development allow.

Offline by design

A device that cannot connect to anything.

Seeder hardware is designed as a fully offline encryption and decryption tool for recovery phrases. It has no data port, no Wi-Fi, no Bluetooth and no network interface. It runs on batteries and cannot be connected to a phone, computer, cloud account or external service.

Seeder never stores your seed, your encrypted backup, or your history. It only processes what you enter at the moment you use it.

The only interface is a QR code. Seeder can display information visually and read information visually, but it does not expose a wired or wireless channel that can be remotely accessed, monitored or abused.

In simple terms, Seeder works more like a calculator than a wallet. Every calculator can calculate and show the same result, but it does not remember what you calculated yesterday. Seeder follows the same principle: it performs encryption or decryption, shows the result, and keeps no stored data.

Transparent hardware

Seeder is planned with a transparent body and a simple visible PCB layout, so users can see which components are inside. The goal is to make the hardware understandable, inspectable and limited only to what is necessary for its core function.

Open code

For security reasons, the Seeder software is planned to be published as open code on GitHub. Anyone will be able to inspect it, review how it works and independently analyze the encryption workflow.

Not tied to one device

The encrypted text is not bound to a specific Seeder unit. The hardware is a tool, not a vault. Your recovery process should not depend on one physical device surviving forever.
